• Governor’s ferry district proposal (1/6/2011):  This is Governor Gregoire’s original proposal to create a “ferry district” and Board including all ferry-served Western Washington counties. This would create a regional taxing authority to provide additional revenue to fill shortfalls in the ferries’ operating budget.
