2006 Kitsap County
Citizen Survey Now Available for Online Response
PORT
ORCHARD, WA—Kitsap County recently conducted a
2006 Citizen Survey over the phone, asking 405 Kitsap residents for their
feedback on a variety of topics related to county performance. While the
results of that survey are being compiled and analyzed, the county is also
offering the survey in an online form.
The survey asks
residents for their opinions about the quality of
county services, prioritizing county issues and services, personal safety
and residents' use of county programs.
"The web survey is an excellent opportunity for Kitsap
County citizens to take part in shaping their community and making their
voices heard," said Chris Endresen, County Commissioner. "If you were not one of
the 405 residents who participated in the phone survey, this is your chance
to provide us with valuable feedback about how we are doing and what is
important to you."
The results from the web survey will
complement the data received from the phone survey. Together, both surveys
will help guide policy decisions that affect residents throughout the county
and will be used to improve services and facilities.
The web survey is open to Kitsap County residents age
18 and older and will be available from the Kitsap County home page at
www.kitsapgov.com through
June 16.
