Rodeo buckaroos ask: Are you tough enough to wear pink?
PORT
ORCHARD, WA—The 2007 Kitsap County Fair and Stampede is once
again proud to participate in the “Tough Enough to Wear Pink?” campaign,
raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Pink T-shirts are
available for $15 at Amish Touch in Silverdale and at both Harrison Medical
Center gift shops in Silverdale and Bremerton. All proceeds will support
Harrison Medical Center Oncology Services.
The Kitsap County Fair and Stampede “Tough Enough to Wear Pink?” awareness
event will take place Friday night, August 24, 2007 during the rodeo
performance, and everyone is encouraged to wear something pink to show your
support for this important cause. At last year’s fair, $6000 was raised for
the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Puget Sound Affiliate.
