Open House For Stormwater Management Code

Works and Community Development Host Three Open Houses For Citizens
Interested in Proposed Revisions to Stormwater Management Rules.

WA — The Kitsap County Departments of Public Works and Community
Development are holding three Open House events to provide information
regarding proposed revisions to Kitsap County Code Title 12 (Storm Water
Drainage). The revisions are necessary to comply with the requirements of
the NPDES Phase II Permit Requirements, mandated by the federal Clean Water
Act and administered by the Washington Department of Ecology.
The three open houses are as follows:
North Kitsap County
Wednesday, February 4, 2009 from 7-9pm
Kingston Community Center’s Appletree Room.
Central Kitsap County
Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 7-9pm
Silverdale Community Center’s Poplar Room
South Kitsap County
Wednesday, February 18, 2009 from 7-9pm
Kitsap County Administration Building Commissioners Chambers
Kitsap County staff will present a brief PowerPoint summary of the proposed
changes and be available for questions following the summary presentation.
Handouts will be available.
