Art Board
Are you a local artist or knowledgeable in the arts? Would you
like to help promote and encourage private and public programs that further
public awareness and develop interest in the arts and cultural properties? If
you live in Kitsap County Residents are encouraged to complete
an application for consideration for the current openings on the Art Advisory
Board in all three Commissioner Districts. The ordinance which established the "1% for Art Program" tasked the Art
Advisory Board with insuring that works of art are integrated into public
facilities, selecting artists or works of art, and making recommendations to the
Commissioners on artists, works of art, or sites for public art funded by the
Capital Improvement Program. Applications
accepted until open positions are filled.
