Diversion and Truancy Support

Help youth at risk by serving on the county boards for diversion and truancy. Board members will be trained to interview youth and their parents/guardians on a case-by-case basis, offering recommendations and agreements in lieu of a court hearing. Board meetings are held in Port Orchard and Poulsbo. Adult and youth volunteers (in grades 9-12) are asked to commit to a minimum of three hours per month.
