Public Works crews plan weekend work

(Port Orchard, WA) Crews from Kitsap County Public Works are working both Saturday and Sunday repairing damage left from Monday’s storm. “We want to take advantage of the good weather window and get repairs made as quickly as possible,” said Bob Wilson, Central Road Shop Supervisor. Crews are working 7:00 a.m. to dusk both days.

Crews from the County’s wastewater and stormwater divisions, along with crews from all three County road shops are focusing efforts in East Bremerton, in Seabeck, and along Belfair Valley Road.

Holly Road Closure & Delays — Saturday (7:00 a.m. to dusk) Holly Road is closed to eastbound traffic about 450 yards east of Boundary Trail. Westbound traffic will experience significant delays of up to an hour at the same location. Use Seabeck-Holly Road and avoid the area if possible.

Please drive carefully in works areas. Expect delays in the immediate vicinity of work. Observe and obey all detour and closure signs. Report damage you see to the roads or adjacent shoulders to The Open Line (360-337-5777) or email openline@co.kitsap.wa.us

This is our last regular update for this storm event. Thank you for your patience and perseverance as we work to repair damage from this storm.
