About Nancy Buonanno Grennan

Nancy Buonanno Grennan, who resides in Poulsbo, has over 20 years experience in human resources, labor relations and policy development. She was previously the Labor Relations Manager for King County, where she develops and implements policy in line with overall County goals, objectives and funding parameters and oversees all labor negotiations for 92 bargaining units, including working with County Officials on organizational structure, budget, staffing, strategic planning and prioritization of resources. Buonanno Grennan formerly held the position of Labor Relations Manager for Kitsap County from 2000 – 2004.

Nancy holds a Law Degree from University of Washington and a B. A. in Psychology from Smith College. She will be responsible for overseeing the six departments under the Board of Commissioners – Public Works, Community Development, Administrative Services, Facilities, Parks & Recreation, Information Services and Personnel and Human Services.
