Honors Outstanding Employees!

Angela Kashuba has been named the Assessor's Employee of the Quarter.  Last year the office updated our computer assisted mass appraisal software program known as ProVal.  Unfortunately, the installation of this new version caused many problems for the commercial data and many data queries & reports no longer functioned.  Angela volunteered to print archive data of existing commercial parcels in order to enable the commercial department to assist taxpayers who inquired about their Change of Value Notices that were sent out the following week.  In addition to this, she worked closely with Mike to discover why the data fields in the new version of ProVal did not populate when the update took place.  Angela’s CAN DO attitude & effort during this conversion is much appreciated! 

Erin Printz-Collins has been named the Assessor's Equalizer of the Year.  The Equalizer of the year award is given to the residential appraiser who achieves the best measure of uniformity when all his or her sales during a specified period of time are compared to assessed values.  The deviation statistic used for evaluation is the coefficient of dispersion.  When end of the year (2011) statistics were compiled Erin prevailed in close competition between her fellow residential appraisers.

Yvonne Wolff has been named the Assessor's Employee of the Year.  Yvonne has performed brilliantly in one of our most demanding jobs.  As the Commercial Section supervisor she is responsible for the appraisal of all Commercial property in the county.  Yvonne has worked extremely hard over the years to better both her appraisal and supervisory skills.  Her Commercial Section team is cohesive, productive and very professional in the work they do.
