Election Day Information


All Ballot Deposit Locations will be open on Election Day from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Accessible Voting Locations
Kitsap voters will have access to accessible voting equipment 20 days prior to each election at the Kitsap County Administration Building, 619 Division Street, Port Orchard, WA  98366.  Please call Elections at (360) 337.7128 if you require assistance or additional information.

How To Mark Your Ballot Properly
In Kitsap County, voters cast ballots on optical scan ballot cards by using a #2 pencil or black pen to draw a single line to connect a broken arrow as illustrated below:

To ensure timely and accurate processing of ballots, voters are reminded to follow the instructions listed at the top of the ballot.

Voted ballots are read electronically so extraneous marks on the ballot result in hand processing which can delay vote counting and add to the costs of administering the election. It is not necessary to repeatedly mark or darken the line that connects the arrow.
