Kitsap County Coroner’s Facility
In September 2007 the Kitsap County Arts Board sent out a “Call for Artists” in Kitsap, Mason and Jefferson counties seeking artists to create inspirational pieces for the exterior portion of the Kitsap County Coroner’s Facility in Bremerton.  The building is anticipated to reach completion by Spring of 2009.  Nineteen artists submitted proposals; however, the final selections are still pending the finalized budget of the Coroner’s planning phase.

Rotating Art Collection
The Kitsap County Arts Board is looking at creating a rotating art collection that can be used within public spaces and rotated throughout the County.  View art pieces.

Collective Vision Gallery
The Kitsap County Arts Board attended the CVG 2008 Art Show held at the Collective Visions Gallery located at 331 Pacific Avenue, Bremerton 2008.  Ken VanderDoes, Vice Chair for the Kitsap County Arts Board, presented purchase awards for three pieces of art totaling $2,000 during the ceremony.  These pieces will be used to begin a rotating art collection that will be used throughout Kitsap County public buildings.  View the art pieces.
