Downtown Kingston road improvements reviewed at meeting Feb. 1 

(Kingston, WA) – Learn more about plans to improve roads, pedestrian access and safety in downtown Kingston at the next meeting of the Kingston Citizens Advisory Council, which begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 in the Village Green Community Center, 26159 Dulay Road NE, Kingston.Kingston High School students will also present their ideas to improve Kingston. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Tim Beachy, capital improvements project manager with Kitsap County Public Works, will provide an update on improvements planned for Washington Boulevard between the Washington State Ferries terminal and the Port of Kingston, as well as other projects to be implemented that were identified in the Complete Streets Project completed last year.  

General Information

 The Kingston Citizens Advisory Council provides a discussion forum for community interests and issues. The Council enhances communication between Kingston-area residents and Kitsap County government, and coordinates efforts of the many council and community residents working to improve the Kingston community. KCAC members represent Kingston’s broad interests, and work together to proactively address community interests and concerns.

The Kingston Citizens Advisory Council meets

7-8:30 p.m. the first Wednesday of every month, except for January and July. Meetings take place at:
