Bremerton Kitsap Public Access 
Advisory Committee

Function/Purpose
The committee, through the BKAT  Public Access Manager,  makes recommendations regarding general policy relating to the services and facilities provided to subscribers and users of the public access television system (a) Promote community outreach; (b) Provide a forum for citizen complaints and concerns regarding use of facilities, programming and other related issues; (c) Submit an annual report to the council regarding all activities of the committee during the reporting year; and (d) Perform such other duties as requested by the City council, Mayor or County Commissioners

Established
The Public Access Citizens Advisory Committee, hereinafter referred to as "committee", which shall act solely as an advisory body to the City of Bremerton Council, the Mayor and the Kitsap County Commissioners to promote and develop optimal utilization of the Public Access Television system.

Membership
The committee shall consist of nine members. The Mayor, with confirmation of the City Council, and the County Commissioners, shall appoint members to the committee, (1) One staff member representing the City of Bremerton ( City appointment) (2) One staff member representing Kitsap County (County appointment) (3) Two members representing users (one City appointment, one County appointment); Four members representing the community at large, professional and educational interests (two City appointments, two County appointment); (5) One member (18 years old or younger) representing youth (jointly appointed by the City and County).

Meeting Time And Location
Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, 5:30 pm at the BKAT office located at 7266 Tibardis Rd NW, Bremerton
