Kitsap County is currently updating Kitsap County Code Title 21 ‘Land Use and Development Procedures’. The goal of the update is to create a more streamlined and user-friendly code.

The code amendment process will include an open house, review meetings, and hearings on the proposed ordinance text prior to final adoption.

Extensive opportunity for public participation at the to-be-scheduled open house, review meetings, and public hearings, as well as regular postings on Community Planning’s web page, will be integral to the process.

Public comments are welcome throughout the process. While a specific reply to each public comment is not possible, all comments received will be maintained in a database and forwarded to the appropriate reviewing bodies for consideration.
