TITLE 17 - ZONING
Rural Commercial (RCO) and Rural Industrial (RI) Code

The Kitsap County Department of Community Development has completed the process of creating two new zones (Rural Commercial and Rural Industrial) for inclusion into the Kitsap County Comprehensive Plan and Kitsap County Code Title 17 ‘Zoning’. Prior to the effort, the existing Commercial and Industrial zones in rural Kitsap County allowed for urban intensities in the rural areas. The two new zones for the Rural Commercial and Rural Industrial areas will reduce the impact of these urban intensities and will be consistent with the Growth Management Act.
