With the help of Stakeholders and the general public, the Kitsap County Department of Community
Development (DCD) completed it's review of the Kitsap County Comprehensive Plan “Rural and Resource” Chapter. The project's main focus was given to rural character and policies, the Rural Wooded Incentive Program, Limited Area of More Intensive Rural Development (LAMIRD) creation, agricultural and farm policies, and rural commercial and industrial zone creation. 
Below is the completed documents adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on December 15, 2010.
