An ADU or an ALQ is an additional
residence located on the same lot as
an owner-occupied dwelling. ADUs
and ALQs may require additional
review through a Conditional Use
Permit (CUP) or Administrative
Conditional Use Permit (ACUP), in
addition to a building permit.
