Greater Hansville Area Advisory Council

Formally established in 2007, the Greater Hansville Area Advisory Council (GHAAC) is a communication forum, information exchange, and direct link to County government. The group is involved in a variety of projects aimed at preserving the unique quality of life in the Greater Hansville Area. Major neighborhoods and community groups in the Greater Hansville Area are represented through GHAAC membership.

2009 Meetings

GHAAC regular business meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month, 7:00 – 9:00pm at the Hansville Community Center at Buck Lake Park, 6959 NE Buck Lake Road, Hansville, WA. The public is invited to attend all meetings, and most include opportunities for public comment.

Interpreter Services

Kitsap County is currently a member of the Washington State Procurement Cooperative which allows us access to contracted sign language interpreter services. If you wish to request a sign language interpreter for any upcoming Citizen Advisory Committee Meetings, please contact Tina Holguin, ADA Coordinator for the Department of Community Development at (360)337-5777. Please provide 1 - 2 weeks notice in order to find the most appropriate interpreter based on the client's communication needs, appointment settings and other factors.
