Formally established in 2007, the Greater Hansville Area Advisory Council (GHAAC) is a communication forum, information exchange, and direct link to County government. The group is involved in a variety of projects aimed at preserving the unique quality of life in the Greater Hansville Area. Major neighborhoods and community groups in the Greater Hansville Area are represented through GHAAC membership.

Kitsap County is currently a member of the Washington State Procurement Cooperative which allows us access to contracted sign language interpreter services.  If you wish to request a sign language interpreter for any upcoming Citizen Advisory Committee Meetings, please contact Tina Holguin, ADA Coordinator for the Department of Community Development at (360)337-5777.  Please provide 1 - 2 weeks notice in order to find the most appropriate interpreter based on the client's communication needs, appointment settings and other factors.
