Our Geographic Information System (GIS) staff performs the following functions:

Collection, analysis, and conversion of graphic and textual geographic information into digital maps, data layers, and tabular information for use by County employees and citizen community groups in the support of the various projects occurring throughout the department.

Map production and analysis output is utilized by many different Department divisions and public Citizen Action Groups. Publicly accessible maps are available in the Maps Section on the navigation bar.

Design and produce finished map products, along with associated analytical information, to support various efforts occurring throughout the County.

Provide data and support for outside agencies, especially in regards to the environment, planning, fire management, and site development.
