Best Available Science
Technical Review Committee (TRC)

Assists the Department of Community Development in reviewing existing Best Available Science (BAS) relating to Critical Areas as defined in the Kitsap County Critical Areas Ordinance (CAO). The TRC will act in an advisory role reviewing data, methodology, and criteria to assist the County in determining what BAS is appropriate to consider in updating the County’s policies and development regulations as required by GMA.
