Land Use/Environmental Review Division

The Land Use section responds to property owners who need more than just a simple building permit to make improvements to their property. The seven planners and two clerks process applications for Land Subdivisions, Site Plan Reviews, Conditional Use Permits, and related land use permission, usually for apartments or commercial and industrial uses. Many require a public hearing before the County's Hearing Examiner. The Section also helps homeowners add Accessory Dwelling Units and Home Businesses.
