Kitsap County Information Services manages the Kitsap County Geographic Information System.  We provide services, data and information to meet the business needs of County departments and the public.

What's New

8/1/2016: Parcel Base Map Progress

As a Technology Initiative supported by the Elected Officials and approved by the Commissioner's, we are excited to report that the first deliverable area (D1) is complete. With this update everything in the parcel base map south of Keyport has now been completed.

The delivery area covers 27 sections and contains 1,784 parcels. The specific sections affected are Sections 25, 26, 27, 34, 35 & 36 of Township 25 North, Range 2 West (J); Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24 & 30 of Township 24 North, Range 2 West (P); and Sections 25 & 35 of Township 24 North, Range 3 West (N).

The downloads for the parcel base map shapefile and the AutoCAD section drawings for these areas is now available.

The Atlantic has published an interesting interactive map showing the living wage gap state by state. It shows the difference between minimum wage and how much money is actually needed to provide basics across the country.
