Abstract:

LAMRID = Limited Areas of More Intense Rural Development In accordance with Washington State's Growth Management Act (GMA), the county may designate limited areas of more intensive rural development as part of the mandatory rural element portion of its Comprehensive Plan. In Kitsap County's Comprehensive Plan dated May 7, 1998, it was determined that the GMA would provide Kitsap County an opportunity to help reconcile the historical land use patterns which have developed throughout the years.
