The purpose of the Kitsap County Accessible Communities Advisory Committee (ACAC) is to support disability awareness and access for people with disabilities through technical assistance and other resources funded by the Accessible Communities Act (Chapter 215, Laws of 2010).
Through outreach efforts we offer education, advocacy and identify accessiblity focused projects to ensure inclusion for all residents of Kitsap County. Our goal is to create and support an inclusive community where all people have equal access.
Meetings are open to the public. People who represent all disabilities are encouraged to get involved.

The Kitsap County Accessible Communities Advisory Committee joins community partners and Outdoors For All for the annual Bikes for All event that takes place 3-7 p.m. Fri., Sept. 13 at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds Sheep Barn, located at 1200 Fairgrounds Road NW, Bremerton.
Local youth and adults with mobility, sensory and other disabilities are invited to attend. There will be adaptive bike demonstrations showcasing recumbent (reclining) and tandem bikes and handcycles. These adaptive bikes provide a way for people with varying mobility to get outside and ride. This event is free and open to everyone! Details at the press release here.
