KITSAP HOMELESS HOUSING PLAN

Kitsap County's Homeless Housing Plan provides background data on homelessness, reports on progress to date, and outlines the goals, strategies and action steps to be implemented over the next five years to make homelessness rare, brief, and one-time.  The Kitsap County Homeless Housing Plan was last updated for 2016 and was approved by the Kitsap County Board of Commissioners.

Each year, a report is compiled on the uses and outcomes for the grant funds distributed to social service organizations working to implement the Homeless Housing Plan.

In 2017, a summer Point in Time Count was added in July, to gather information about differences in the population experiencing homelessness at different times of the year.
