APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS
If you are interested in volunteering to be a part of the Salish BHO Advisory Board, please fill out the Volunteer Application for Appointment and return it to Alex Hardy at ahardy@co.kitsap.wa.us; or 614 Division St. MS-23, Port Orchard, WA 98366. Representatives are needed for Kitsap, Jefferson and Clallam counties.
FUNCTION/PURPOSE

The establishment of the Salish Behavioral Health Organization (SBHO)Advisory Board is a requirement pursuant to RCW 71.24.

The Advisory Board works with the SBHO Executive Board on policy guidance and program oversight of the mental health programs within Clallam, Jefferson, and Kitsap Counties. The Board helps determine procedures for the delivery of mental health services in all three counties and develops a service plan.

MEMBERS/APPOINTMENT TERMS
With the signing of the Interlocal Agreement establishing the Salish Behavioral Health Organization (BHO), the tenure of the PRSN Advisory Board has come to a close.  The Salish BHO Advisory Board has been established and is composed of 17 members, 5 from each county and 2 tribal representatives, who are appointed by the Salish BHO Executive Board.  At least 51 percent of its members must be consumers and/or family members of behavioral health services.
