Crews will need to excavate beneath the damaged retaining wall, requiring substantial reconstruction. Additionally, the extended lead time for necessary materials has contributed to the delay.
The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the incident of first-degree malicious mischief that occurred on August 23, 2024, at the culvert construction site on NW Newberry Hill Rd. and Sesame St. NW.
