MISS KITSAP FAIR
Adele Hymel, 22, is 2014 Miss Kitsap Fair & Stampede. Adele is the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Hymel. After capturing the Personality, Presentation, Photogenic, Director’s and Sales Awards, Adele officially started her year of service on January 1, 2014.
When asked why she wanted to represent rodeo and the Miss Kitsap Fair & Stampede organization, she replied: “I want to show girls you can begin rodeo and royalty at any age with an understanding of commitment and courage. I just ‘jumped all in’ and gave barrel racing and the rodeo community a whirl. I found the rodeo community welcoming and very helpful. I want to be the welcoming arms, warm smile, and cheers of encouragement for girls and women of all backgrounds and ages to try new things, to learn new skills and to become part of our community.”
Adele studies Nursing at Olympic College and wants to work in an Emergency or Operating room. In her free time, Adele enjoys barrel racing, trail riding and spending time with her family.
Adele joins the Miss Kitsap Fair & Stampede Organization in thanking our generous pageant and rodeo sponsors. We’ll see you all at the Kitsap County Fair & Stampede August 20th - 24th, 2014!
