Horseshoe Lake County Park

Size: 39 Acres

Region: South District

Description: Lake access, swimming area, walking trails, picnic areas, BBQ, playgrounds, ball field, restrooms and life jacket kiosk. The ball field and picnic tables are first come, first served.

Park Rules

Directions: 15931 Sidney Road SW, Port Orchard

From Tacoma:
Take Hwy 16 West to the Purdy exit, turn left at the 1st stop light, follow road across the bridge, turn right onto Sidney Rd., the park is on the right.

From Bremerton:
Take Hwy 16 East (toward Tacoma), take the Sedgwick Rd exit, turn right onto Sedgwick Rd. Come to Sidney Rd, and go left. Travel on Sidney Rd to the park. The park is on the left.

Kitsap County Parks & Recreation Department and Key Peninsula Metropolitan Park District have a partnership which will provide public access to Horseshoe Lake Park, on a daily basis (see days below). 

Boat Launch: This lake has good public access through the WDFW boat launch and along the shoreline at the county park. For more information about fishing please visit Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
