About the park: Constructed in 1942 as an elementary school, the Frank Givens School saw thirty-five thousand children pass through its doors until its closure in 1990. Kitsap County acquired the building in 1992 and transformed it into the Givens Community Center. This 48,000 square foot multi-purpose facility houses county departments, local services agencies, and recreational facilities. The center has handicap access and is a non-smoking facility. Reserve a room for your next special event by calling (360) 895-5743. Enjoy the beautiful water wise gardens just outside the entrance of the community center.

Directions: From Highway 3 take Highway 16 to the Tremont exit. Go east on Tremont toward Port Orchard. Turn left on Sidney. The community center will be on your left.
