Tax Statements Arriving By Mail and Accessible Online

PORT ORCHARD, WA—Annual tax statements will be mailed out on Tuesday, February 14. Payments for the first half of the year are due on April 30 and for the second half on October 31. This month’s mailings are the only paper statements that will be sent out for the year, so Kitsap County Treasurer Barbara Stephenson asks that property owners keep an eye out for their pink envelopes, which should arrive late this week. Those whose tax payments are handled by a mortgage lender will also receive an "information only" tax statement.

However, all property owners can view their tax statements online by visiting the Treasurer’s website at From there, they can click on the “Tax Statement Online” link and, using a tax identification number or address, they can access this information for their own property—or anyone else’s—through the county’s parcel locator.

The Treasurer’s office website also offers information about a variety of other services, including options for paying taxes. The county offers an E-Payment system to pay with electronic checks and a program that automatically debits your bank account for tax payments. Taxes may also be paid with Visa or Mastercard. Property owners who don’t want to forget about the October 31 deadline can sign up to have reminder cards sent to them later in the year.

If you have any questions or do not receive your tax statement in the mail soon, contact the Treasurer’s office at (360) 337-7135 or
