Veterans Workshop Will Provide
Information on New Veterans' Relief Law
PORT
ORCHARD, WA—Veterans interested in achieving maximum use of resources to
assist indigent veterans and their families are invited to an informational
workshop about recent changes in the Veterans’ Assistance Program. The first
annual Kitsap County Veterans Workshop, “New Opportunities and New
Directions,” will inform veterans and others about new legislation affecting
assistance to indigent veterans.
The workshop is being held at Long Lake Community Center in Port Orchard on
Saturday, May 13, 2006, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. To register, contact the
Kitsap County Auditor’s Financial Services at (360) 337-7122 by May 11.
