Kingston and Silverdale Free Summer
Concert Series Schedules Announced
PORT
ORCHARD, WA—Kitsap County Department of
Facilities, Parks and Recreation is proud to offer two more free concert
series this summer:
Kingston Tunes on Tuesdays is presented in
coordination with the
Port of Kingston; Kingston North Kitsap Rotary; American Marine Bank;
Kingston Lumber, Millwork and Supply; and John L. Scott Real Estate. Grab a
friend or two and shake it up for five weeks this summer at the Mike Wallace
Memorial Park at the Kingston Marina each Tuesday, August 1 through August
29 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
August
1: James and the Shifters
provide
the ultimate rock revue with classic rock ‘n’ roll, blues, country and a
tribute to Elvis!
August 8: Hit
Sensation
will get you
moving and grooving with their vast play list of classic rock, R&B,
disco, Motown, '80s, '90s and current hits.
August 15: Juliet Wyers
is charismatic and fills the stage with her smart and sweet, funny and
chatty persona. Her songs ring with melodies that reflect the words’
meanings and hop with rhythmic life.
August 22: The Drive plays
a mix of musical styles from classic rock and alternative to country and
blues, and their onstage energy ensures that all will have a good time.
August 29: The Jazz Ambassadors
offer everything from
big band standards to blues to fusion. This versatile and professional
group of jazz musicians will provide music that will entertain, no
matter what your taste may be.
Silverdale Sounds on the Sound
is presented in coordination with the Port of Silverdale and the Rotary
Club of Silverdale.
Head on down to the newly renovated Silverdale Waterfront Park and groove to
great sounds each Friday, from August 4 through August 25 from 6:30 to 8:00
p.m.
August 4: Mercurius
is a family friendly band who plays all original classic rock and
power pop to get you moving.
August 11: The Two Tones
are a dynamic, funky band who have a sound all their own. They have
perfected soulful sound for a crowd of any age while playing funk,
blues, soul and jazz.
August 18: Hit Sensation
will get you
moving and grooving with their vast play list of classic rock, R&B,
disco, Motown, '80s, '90s and current hits.
August
25: The Warren Brothers
play a mix of musical styles from country to rock 'n' roll. Their
onstage energy ensures that all will have a good time.
