New BKAT Schedule for Commissioners' Public Meetings
PORT
ORCHARD, WA—Beginning Monday, August 7, Bremerton Kitsap Access
Television (BKAT) will broadcast the Kitsap Board of County Commissioners' public
meetings at new times. The meetings will now air on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. and
Tuesdays at 1:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. BKAT can be viewed on Comcast cable
channel 12 and Charter cable channel 3 in Kitsap County.
The Board of County Commissioners' public meetings take place at 10:00 a.m.
on the second and fourth Monday of each month at the Administration Building
in Port Orchard. Viewing the meetings on BKAT is the next best thing to
attending them in person.
The meetings provide the public with the opportunity to directly address the
commissioners. Those who watch the BKAT broadcast are also welcome to
contribute by mailing, emailing or calling the commissioners' office at
337-7146.
