Fair and Stampede Supporters Help
Stamp Out Breast Cancer
PORT
ORCHARD, WA—Are you tough enough to wear pink? The Kitsap County Fair and Stampede
and its supporters are asking this question at this year's rodeo to help raise awareness and money to find a cure for
breast cancer.
On Friday, August
25, you can show your support by wearing pink during the rodeo
performance, purchasing a Tough Enough To Wear Pink balloon and
purchasing an arena floor ticket.
The
Kitsap Rodeo Cowpokes Committee will be donating $100 for each contestant
who wears pink that night and wins their event. The balloons purchased
before the rodeo will all be released simultaneously at the start of the
event. One dollar from each arena floor ticket will also be donated to the
Puget Sound affiliate
of the
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
The Kitsap Rodeo Cowpokes, Wranglers and Buckle Club
members are hoping to raise $1 million for the fight against breast cancer
and in support of this universal cause.
