Clothing and Textile Advisor Training
Offered This Fall

ORCHARD, WA—Washington State University Kitsap Extension is looking for
new Clothing and Textile Advisors.
The Clothing
and Textile Advisor Program offer volunteers the opportunity to share with
the community their knowledge and love of sewing. Advisors educate youth,
adults and seniors through programs on topics including textiles, fabric
care and laundry practices, and clothing and wardrobe planning, as well as
in summer sewing camps for youth.
If you love to sew, want to refresh or improve your
skills and are willing to share clothing and textile knowledge with others,
then you have what it takes to become a Clothing and Textile Advisor.
WSU Extension is offering training for the Clothing and Textile Advisor
Program this fall. Classes will be held at Island Lake Community Center,
from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the following Mondays: October 2, 9, 16, 23,
30 and November 6, 2006.
