Table Tennis Tournament Attracts the Pros
PORT
ORCHARD, WA—Kitsap County is hosting a Table Tennis Championship
Tournament this Saturday, September 9, at the Kitsap Sun Pavilion located at
the Kitsap County Fairgrounds and Events Center in Bremerton.
Wes Wolfe, the 7th ranked player in the United States in his age category,
will be visiting the tournament this Saturday. Several top players
from Tacoma, including Lam Son Do, Tam Hoang and David Kith, will be
also participating in the tournament.
The doors open at 9:00 a.m., and play will start at 10:00 a.m. There
will be a double round robin play for single players and an open doubles
competition. Age categories are 18 and under, Open and Masters (ages
50 and up). The entry fee is $15. Each participant will receive free gifts, and trophies will be
awarded to male and female winners in each age division. Participants can
register in person at the Kitsap County Facilities, Parks & Recreation
office at 1200 NW Fairgrounds Road in Bremerton.
The event is free to attendees and open to the public.
