Mini-Grant Awards Available
Local Groups Encouraged to Apply for
Salmon Restoration Funding
PORT ORCHARD, WA—The
Kitsap County Department of Community Development has announced the
availability of the Watershed Mini-Grant Program for 2007. The Watershed
Mini-Grants are aimed at supporting community efforts to protect and restore
local water resources and fish habitat and conducting educational programs.
Grants of up to $2,500 are available to groups for projects designed to
benefit residents living in unincorporated areas of Kitsap County.
Youth, employee and conservation organizations, neighborhood groups,
fishing and service clubs, schools and businesses are encouraged to apply.
