KITSAP COUNTY CLERK OFFERS PASSPORT FAIRS
PORT
ORCHARD, WA—Dave Peterson, Kitsap
County Clerk, wants to make it easier for citizens to apply for a passport.
"It is now necessary to have a passport to fly or arrive by sea into Canada
or Mexico and return. We have been inundated by passport applications.
Next year (at present the date is January 1, 2008), any crossing over our
borders will require a passport. To make it more convenient for people to
apply for this important document, we are, if effect, ‘taking our show on
the road’ with passport fairs to take passport applications in the south,
central and north parts of Kitsap County."
Information about the
fairs is as follows:
-
Silverdale, Kitsap
Mall, Saturday, February 24, 10 AM to 6 PM

Meeting, Kingston Jr. High, February 27, 7 to 9 PM. (9000 NE West
Kingston Rd., Kingston)
