County Partners with Local Community Groups for
Annual Youth Egg Hunts

PORT ORCHARD, KINGSTON, AND SILVERDALE, WA—The Kitsap County Department of Facilities, Parks and Recreation is partnering with
several local community groups to provide Youth Egg Hunts for children
throughout Kitsap County. The events take place on Saturday April 7th Rain
or Shine.

Hunt for lots of candy-filled eggs and receive a special prize. All ages will
hunt at the same time on age appropriate fields. Be sure to get there on
time so you don’t miss out! Fields will be marked according to age groups
and plenty of volunteers will be there to help if you have children of different
The first hunt of the day begins at 11:00am for ages 1 –11 in Kingston, at
the Kingston Kola Kole Park located at the ball field next to Kingston Coop
Preschool. This event is in partnership with Kingston CO-OP Preschool,
Kingston Jr High Builders Club and North Kitsap Boys and Girls Club.
Join us at 12:00 noon for ages 1-10 in Port Orchard, at the South Kitsap
Community Park located at the playfield. This event is in partnership with
South Kitsap Park District, Fathom’s O’ Fun association, Soroptomist of Port
Orchard, Port Orchard Eagles and South Kitsap Kiwanis.
Arrive at 3:00pm for ages 1-11 in Silverdale, at the Pheasant Fields Farm
located at 13274 Clear Creek Rd. This event is in partnership with the
Pheasant Field Farm, Explorer Search and Rescue and Pacific Northwest
Photographic Society.
Grab your baskets and hop on down to one of these three Spring Egg
Hunts. Donations are Welcome!
