Volunteers give more than $3.5 million in service to
Kitsap County programs

ORCHARD, WA—From Adopt-a-Road volunteers collecting 3.45 tons of
roadside litter to Citizens on Patrol logging 11,730 hours assisting law
enforcement services, some 3,672 people volunteered over 189,000 hours of
service to Kitsap County programs, facilities and services in 2006, racking
up a dollar value worth more than $3.5 million.
