Kitsap County Commissioners seek Bremerton candidates
for the Library Board of Trustees
PORT
ORCHARD, WA—Port Orchard, WA Kitsap County Commissioners are
seeking applications from Bremerton residents who are interested in serving
the community on the Kitsap Regional Library Board of Trustees. Library
trustees are called upon to make decisions and recommendations on library
services that affect the entire community.
Trustees serve without
compensation while acting in this responsible policy making role. They also
participate in long-range planning, act as liaisons to elected officials and
the public, and advocate in support of libraries. The Library Board of
Trustees meets monthly on the fourth Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Sylvan Way
Branch Board Room or other branches throughout Kitsap County.
An application to be considered for appointment to complete a term ending
December 31, 2010 on the Kitsap Regional Library Board of Trustees may be
obtained at Kitsap County Volunteer Services, 619 Division Street, Port
Orchard. To receive an application packet by mail, contact Jan Koske at
