PORT
ORCHARD, WA—North Kitsap County residents are encouraged to apply
for a District 1 vacancy on the Kitsap County Council for Human Rights. The

policies, education, resource referrals, and advocacy. Together with the
board of county commissioners, they sponsor the Annual Human Rights
Conference.
Except in December, the council meets on the second Tuesday of every month
at 6:00 p.m. Their meetings, which are open to the public, are usually held
at the Silverdale Community Center.
