Spooky fun for everyone – The Haunted Fairgrounds
return to Kitsap County
PORT
ORCHARD, WA—The 5th Annual Haunted Fairgrounds will once again
delight children of all ages at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds and Events
Center beginning next weekend.
Sponsored by the Kitsap County Parks and Recreation Department and local
volunteers, the safe, family-oriented indoor event is bigger and better than
ever and continues to grow in popularity each year, with more than 5,200
people enjoying the thrills, chills and games last year.
The Haunted Fairgrounds takes place on October 19, 20, 26, 27 and 31.
Beginning from 5 – 6 PM the lights stay on (recommended for children 8 and
under) and from 6 – 10 PM you’re in the dark, with extended hours until 11
PM on October 26 and 27.
Children under 5 are admitted free, general admission for everyone else is
$7.00. You can go through twice in one night with a “2nd Time Around” pass
for $12.00 and the “Fastpass” puts you at the front of the line for
unlimited visits per night for $20.00. Take a dollar off each admission with
a canned food donation – over 1,500 pounds of food donated last year to
local food banks. The American Red Cross offers Kiddie Carnival Games each
night until 9 PM, just $1.00 for four tickets. Tasty concessions will be
available on site.
