Applicants sought for the Kitsap County Substance Abuse
Advisory Board
PORT
ORCHARD, WA—The Kitsap County Board of Commissioners encourages
citizens to apply to serve on the Substance Abuse Advisory Board. The
nine-member board is required by the state to provide guidance and program
oversight for substance abuse treatment and prevention programs in Kitsap
County.
Members are chosen to serve on the board for their demonstrated concern for
alcoholism and other drug addiction problems. The board reviews all service
plans, applications for funding and budgets and meets monthly on the third
Tuesday, at the Silverdale Community Center, 9729 Silverdale Way NW.
