Sustainability In Communities Workshop Offered
Kitsap
County, WA — Be part of the solution! Change
your approach. Learn how to engage local citizens in creating sustainable
communities.
Dr. Wendy Sarkissian, author of Kitchen Table
Sustainability, has taken a hard look at current community engagement
processes and why they fail to meet the challenges posed by sustainability
in communities, cities and towns. She will inspire workshop participants to
use more targeted and tested methods based on practical principles that
build confidence and engage citizens.
This one-day workshop will be concrete, practical and experience-based,
with an emphasis on explaining and working with the participatory model
featured in Kitchen Table Sustainability.
