Extension offers two classes
Train to work on upland and stream riparian restoration
projects, or learn about seaweed, fish, invertebrates, clams and more at a
Stream Stewardship training or a Beach Naturalists class.
Stream Stewardship Training
2011 Stream Stewardship training is starting March 26 and will be held at
the Norm Dicks Government Center, Bremerton. Anyone that would like to
receive training that prepares them to work on upland and stream riparian
restoration projects, can become a Stream Stewardship volunteer. For more

Beach Naturalists Class
WSU Kitsap County Extension, Washington Sea Grant and Kitsap County SSWM is
offering a Beach Naturalists Class Starting March 31. Our Beach Naturalists
learn about seaweed, fish, invertebrates, clams, crabs, anemones and beach
etiquette. Those community members that would love to learn more about our
beaches, and give back by helping educate others, can visit our website
