Solid Waste Advisory Council needs North Kitsap representative

(Port Orchard, WA)  The Kitsap County Solid Waste Advisory Council has an opening for a North Kitsap resident from County Commissioner District #1 to serve in an advisory capacity assisting in the development of programs and policies concerning solid waste handling and disposal. The council advises and makes recommendations to the Solid Waste Program Director and Kitsap County Board of Commissioners regarding program direction and implementation, reviews and comments on proposed rules, policies and ordinances and participates in the development of a Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan.
