Seniors needed to serve on Aging Advisory Council

(Port Orchard) - New members are sought for the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council. The council, made up primarily of citizens age 60 and older, advises the agency and elected officials on the development and implementation of the area plan for aging services, funded by federal, state and local dollars. Council representatives from all three Kitsap County Commissioner Districts advocate for the interests of seniors and disabled adults in the review of state and local policies, programs and actions. Meetings are held quarterly.
