KRCC seeks grant committee members
(Port Orchard, WA) – The Kitsap Regional
Coordinating Council is looking for Kitsap County residents to serve on its
citizens advisory boards that review housing, capital improvement and
planning applications then make funding recommendations for the allocation
of Community Development Block Grants and HOME Investment Partnership
federal funds. Council members participate in a one-day training and conduct
public applicant interviews while actively participating with other board
members in developing priorities for use of funds.
Members are sought who have experience in
construction, project management, mortgage lending and housing and
economic development or a background working with community service
providers as an employee, volunteer, board member or consumer with grant
administration and grant writing experience and knowledge of HUD
regulations.
